He was baptized and instructed at Bear Creek by the Rev Brackhage and confirmed in the Lutheran Church on March 18, 1883, by the same pastor. He farmed for a while in Illinois, later removed to Adams county (sic), Nebraska. On April 24, 1907, he was married to Blondina Einspahr. Apr 9, 1941, Page 7 Henry Ernst Nienhueser Henry Ernst Nienhueser was born at Bear Creek, Ind., August 16. 1869. He was baptized and instructed at Bear Creek by the Rev Brackhage and confirmed in the Lutheran Church on March 18, 1883, by the same pastor. He farmed for a while in Illinois, later removed to Adams county (sic), Nebraska. On April 24, 1907, he was married to Blondina Einspahr. Mr. and Mrs. Henry Nienhueser were lifelong members of the Wanda Zion Lutheran Church. Mr. Nienhueser was both a voting member and treasurer of the church. He was always active in church work. He died April 3, 1941, after suffering a stroke. His health had been failing for some time. He died at the family home, 10 miles southeast of Kenesaw. Surviving him are his wife; one daughter, Mrs. Harvine Borchers; two sons, Marvin and Melvin; two grandchildren; four brothers, Christ, Frank, William and Elvin; one sister, Mrs. Heye Borchers. Funeral services were conducted April 7 by the Rev. A. W. Wilk, pastor of the Zion Lutheran Church. Pallbearers were Amos, Erwin, Clifford, Donald and Wilfred Nienhueser, Arthur Borchers Flower bearers were Eva Nienhueser, Ella Hahlweg, Laura Einspahr and Elvera Nienhueser. Burial was at the Zion Lutheran Church cemetery (sic).
