Here he received his Christian training and was confirmed in the Lutheran church by Pastor Zollmann In September, 1892 he came to Adams county (sic), Nebraska. On February 16, 1896 he was united in marriage to Wilhelmina Einspahr. This ceremony was performed by Pastor Wambaganss. God blessed this union with eleven children. He, with his... His parents were Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Nienhueser. Here he received his Christian training and was confirmed in the Lutheran church by Pastor Zollmann In September, 1892 he came to Adams county (sic), Nebraska. On February 16, 1896 he was united in marriage to Wilhelmina Einspahr. This ceremony was performed by Pastor Wambaganss. God blessed this union with eleven children. He, with his family, lived in this community during the rest of his life and he was an active member of Zion Lutheran. In August, 1934 he suffered his first stroke and was, since that time, under the doctor's care. On May 13, 1940 he died, survived by his faithful wife and the following children: Mr. and Mrs. Walter Nienhueser, Kenesaw, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Blessing, Juniata, Edwin Nienhueser, Juniata, Mr. and Mrs. Goodwin Roberts of Oakland, California, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Nienhueser, Juniata, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Petersen, Hastings, Clarence Nienhueser, Grand Island, Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Nienhueser, Grand Island, Mr. and Mrs. Otto Liermann, Grand Island, Miss Adeline Nienhueser, Berkeley, California and Donald Nienhueser at home; also nine grandchildren and five brothers and one sister. He reached the age of 68 years, 8 months and 23 days. He was buried in Wanda Lutheran cemetery (sic) on May 16, 1940, the Rev A. D. Wilk officiating. The flower girls were Erna Nienhueser of York, Elvera and Carolyn Nienhueser of Holstein and Esther Borchers of Hastings. The following acted as pallbearers: Wilfred Nienhueser of Holstein; Amos and Erwin Nienhueser of York, Marvin and Melvin Nienhueser of Juniata and Arthur Borchers of Kenesaw. - - Contributed
