Henry, the 8th of 16 children to Jessie Rodriguez and Peter Rosas, was born in Proctor Colorado on March 18, 1939. He graduated from Iliff High School in 1957, lettering in baseball and basketball. He married his high school sweetheart, Roberta Marostica, in 1960 at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Sterling, CO. They would have celebrated their 61st anniversary on September 17th. Henry was drafted into the United States Army in 1961, and served 2 years in Germany as a sergeant E-5. He worked at Foxhovens for 19 years before he founded H-R Tire Co. in 1979. His business continued to be a priority in his life until the very end. If not at H-R Tire Co., Henry could be found golfing at the Sterling Country Club and was able to score a hole-in-one. His family and friends will fondly remember his contagious smile and one of a kind sense of humor. Henry is survived by his wife Roberta; Son Jeff and wife Hydi Rosas, and their children and loved ones Karlie and Chris Urbach, Kyle and Kelli Gandee, Scott Rosas and Caitlyn Murphy, and Rachel Rosas; Brothers Richard Rosas, and Mike and Viney Rosas; Sisters Sara Depperschmidt, Vicky Winslow, Bernie and Ed Bushel and Hope and Don Parker; In-laws Amanda Rosas, Virginia Frei, Nana and Larry Brandly, Marie Skov, Paula Marostica, Joye Marostica, and numerous nieces and nephews. Henry was excited to welcome his first great-grandchild Josephine Gandee in the coming weeks. He is preceded in death by his parents Jessie and Peter Rosas; brothers Manuel, Art, Pete, and George Rosas; and sisters Carmen Lybarger, Ernie Iverson, Martha Rosas, Theresa Peetz, Priscilla Kippes. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to St. Anthony's Catholic Church where Henry was a devout member for over 60 years and celebrated many milestones in his life c/o Tennant Funeral Home PO Box 1547, Sterling, CO 80751.
