Read More	Another Pioneer Taken Henry Walton, 85 years old, Died Monday, Came to Hand County In The Spring of 1882 Funeral services for Henry Walton were held Wednesday afternoon in the St. Lawrence Community church, conducted by Rev. Joseph Andrews, pastor of the Miller Presbyterian church, and burial took place in Odd Fellows Cemetery. He was born in Cedar County, Iowa, a little over 85 years ago and and came to Hand County in 1882 and settled on a homestead in Alpha township, where he and his family lived for many years. He made his home in St. Lawrence for several years with his daughter, Mrs. P.O. Arends, and family. Deceased is survived by six sons, three daughters, eight grandchildren, two brothers and five sisters. He was sick but a few days before he died, Monday afternoon. The community extends its sincere sympathy to the bereaved relatives, and realizes that a gentle, honest, citizen and hard working man throughout his long life, has passed on to the great beyond. (as his father-in-law), Dolly (Peter's wife) and Arlene (dau of Peter and Dolly). I found "Harrison" on a family tree on ancestory.com to make the connection between 1920 & 1930 censuses of Henry to the middle name Harrison from the 1930 census of Harry. Maple street and Peter are the same on both 1920 and 1930....wondering about the various spellings of "Elanora", "Allanora", and "Dolly"?
