Description	:	Moline, Illinois - Homer "Yike" Hotle, formerly of Washington, died Jan. 3, 1985, at the Moline Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center. He was 81. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in the Jones Funeral Home at Washington. The Rev. Lowell Dallman, minister of Trinity Lutheran Church in Moline, of which Mr. Hotle was a member, will officiate. Burial will be in Elm Grove Cemetery, Washington. Visitation begins at the local funeral home Sunday at 2 p.m.; there will also be a visitation at the DeRoo Funeral Home, Moline, from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday. Memorials... Memorials may be given to Trinity Lutheran Church. Mr. Hotle was born Oct. 6, 1903, at Washington, the son of William and Mary Wilkins Hotle. On Nov. 16, 1926, he married Helen Smith at Ottumwa. He was a welder for 16 years at J. I. Case Company in Rock Island and Bettendorf and retired in 1967. Mr. Hotle was also a member of the Isaak Walton League. Surviving are his wife, Helen, of 501 30th Avenue, Moline; a daughter, Patricia (Mrs. Lee) Mangold, West Chester; son, John, also of Moline; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a brother, William, of Rock Island, Illinois; and five sisters, Mabel Baker, Cecille Mayer and Lucille Fulton, all of Washington; Alice Edgar, Crawfordsville; and Edith Graf, Wellman.
