Description	:	Funeral services will be held at St. John Lutheran Church, Dunlap, Thursday (today), March 24, at 2:00 p.m. for Henry Buter. Mr. Buter died March 21, 1960 at the age of 73 years, 11 months and 14 days. Rev. Robert Hoeft, pastor of St. John Church, will officiate at the services. Music will be furnished by William Rannells and Dick Howard, accompanied by Mrs. William Rannells at the organ. Interment will be in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery at Dunlap. Henry John Buter Jr. was born at Neola, April 7, 1886, the son of Henry John Buter Sr. and Mary Klane. January 1, 1913, he married Elsie Weber at Charter Oak. Four children were born to this union: Leonard and Mrs. Byron Chambers, both of Dunlap; Delpha, who died in 1925; and Glenn who was killed in military service in 1947. His wife, Elsie, preceded him in death in 1948. Mr. Buter and family lived near Dunlap all of their married life. They retired from the farm and moved to town in 1946. Survivors include two brothers, Herman of Dunlap and George of Renton, Wash.; and one sister, Mrs. Lena Wimmer of Mapleton; his two children, nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, also many other relatives and friends.
