Description	:	Obituary, The Journal and Tribune, Knoxville, Tenn., Saturday Morning, April 15, 1916: "Kitts - Esquire Henry Kitts, a prominent citizen of Knox county and former member of the county court, died Friday afternoon at 12:30 o'clock at his home near Corryton, in his ninety-third year. The deceased was a native of Virginia*, but came to Knox county thirty years ago. He was for twelve years a member of the county court and was one of the successful farmers of the county. Read More	Obituary, The Journal and Tribune, Knoxville, Tenn., Saturday Morning, April 15, 1916: "Kitts - Esquire Henry Kitts, a prominent citizen of Knox county and former member of the county court, died Friday afternoon at 12:30 o'clock at his home near Corryton, in his ninety-third year. The deceased was a native of Virginia, but came to Knox county thirty years ago. He was for twelve years a member of the county court and was one of the successful farmers of the county. Surviving him are his widow and four sons, Simeon, of Washburn, Tenn.; O. L. of Williams Springs; L. A. of Louisville, Texas; H. L. of New Orleans, and R. T. of Corryton; and three daughters, Mrs. Laura Brickley, of Hall's Cross Roads; Mrs. Oscar Mynatt and Mrs. C. K. Chiles, of Corryton. A funeral service will be conducted from the home at one o'clock this afternoon and the remains will be taken to the home of Simeon Kitts, at Washburn, where funeral services will be conducted at one o'clock Sunday afternoon. Rev. Worth Parker, pastor of Graveston Baptist church, will have charge of both services. Esquire Kitts was a member of the Grand Army of the Republic and a Mason."
