He had been in poor health for the last two years, but was active about the farm even to the morning of his death. Funeral services were held at the Lentner church Monday at 2 o'clock, conducted by Rev. C. E. Nichols, with interment in the family burying ground near there. Mr. Boling was born at Beloit, Wis., on March 23, 1863. He was twice married. His first wife, who was Miss Ellen Stewart, died in 1903. To this union seven children were born, three of whom died in infancy. Those surviving are Mrs. Irene Chinn, Mrs. Eva White, Mrs. Jessie White and Philip Boling. In 1906 he was married to Mrs. Mattie Stalcup and to this union a daughter was born, Mrs. Hazel Collins, of Hannibal. Deceased also leaves two step-daughters, Mrs. Gladys Ragsdale, of this county, and Mrs. Alice Saunders, of Detroit, Mich., together with six brothers and two sisters: Mox, William, Paul, Hugo, Enno and Hans Boling; Mrs. B. P. Rutledge of Clarence and Mrs. P. Jochim of Milwaukee, Wis.
