He was a son of the late Henry C. and Elizabeth Calhoun Mullenax and was descended from a family that settled here in 1781. Mr. Mullenax is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mamie Collins Mullenax, with whom he celebrated his 60th weddcng anniversary an Nov. 20, 1960. Four sons, John, Ben and Joseph Mullenax, all of Blue Grass, and Fred B. Mullenax, Franklin, W. Va.; six. daughters, Mrs. Mona Hammer, Monterey, Mrs .Thelma Mullenax and Mrs. Gladys Swecker, Blue Grass; Miss Edith Mullenax, Staunton, Mrs. Geneva. Fox, Lovettesville, and Mrs. Esta Hoover, Canton, Oh.; a brother, Abe Mullenax, Maryland; 32 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. The funeral services will be at Central Methodist Church, Blue Grass with the Rev. Philip DeMuth officiating. Burial will be in Blue Grass Cemetery with Obaugh Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
