Funeral services will be held in the Barnetts Blue Chapel conducted by the Rev. S E Frederick pastor of St. Marks Lutheran Church. Burial will be in Memorial Lawn Cemetery. Friday in the Barnetts Blue Chapel conducted by the Rev. Sherman E. Frederick, pastor of St. Marks Lutheran Church. Mr. Ding was a son-in-law of Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Fehr, Rt. 2. Born Dec. 25, 1917 at Hebron, ND, Mr. Ding was the son Peter and Louise Stelter Ding. He married Thelma Fehr Sept. 24th, 1945 in Great Bend, KS. Surviving are his wife and two children, Dennis and Jeanine, of the home, and five brothers and eight sisters. He was a veteran of World War II and a member of the Lutheran Church. Ding, Edwards, Colo., who died Monday, were held Friday afternoon in the Roberts-Blue-Barnett Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Sherman E. Frederick, pastor of St. Marks Lutheran Church. Porter Clark sang, accompanied by Mrs. Clark. Pallbearers were Kenneth Horton, Gilbert Fehr, V. J. Fehr, J. M. Hance, Frank G. Robinson and [A]lvin Whitaker. Burial was Memorial Lawn Cemetery. Out-of-town relatives attending were Mrs. Herbert A. Ding and children, Dennis and Jeanine, Edwards, Colo; Richard, Glenn, Albert and Nelson Merz, Mrs. August Zentner, Mrs. Henry Bauer, Falls City, Neb; Harlan Zentner, Shubert, Neb; Mr. and Mrs. Frank Robinson and family, Cassoday; Mr. and Mrs J. M. Hance, Hays, and Mr. and Mrs. Albert Conrade, Olpe. January 27, 1959, Emporia Gazette, Emporia, KS Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Hance, Hays; Mr. and Mrs. Frank Robinson and family, Cassoday; and Mrs. Herbert Ding and family, Edwards; were guests last week at the homes of Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Fehr Rt. 2 and Mr. and Mrs. V. J. Fehr and family, Rt. 2. Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Whitaker and Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Whitaker of Rt. 2 entertained with a dinner party on Sunday. Guests were Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Fehr and Mr. and Mrs. V J Fehr and family, all of Rt. 2; Mr. and Mr. Frank Robinson and family, Cassoday; Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Hance, Hays; and Mrs. Herbert Ding and family of Edwards, Colo. Mrs. Ding and family left Sunday to return to their home in Colorado. Mrs. Frank Robinson accompanied her and will stay with the Ding family for several weeks.
