He married Beata Dubberstein on Nov. 17, 1906. The couple established their first home on a farm ten miles northwest of town. In 1909 they moved to a farm near Wetonka where they lived until 1948 when they came to Aberdeen. Mr. Erdmann was active in Aberdeen civic affairs and church work. Survivors in addition to his widow include two sons: Ora and Arnold, both of Wetonka; two daughters: Mrs. Brian (Elizabeth) Crompton of Molalla, Ore., and Mrs. Ray (Adeline) Ellsworth of Aberdeen; a brother, Gilbert of Groton; a sister, Mrs. Jas. (Emma) Wilcox of Hopkins, Minn.; 20 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter, two grandchildren and two brothers.
