Nace and Mary Hester Sage, was born March 4th, 1870 near Victor, and entered into rest Sunday morning Feb. 7, 1909. Mrs. Nace died two weeks after Hester's birth, leaving her to the care of her grandmother Sage who, with a mother's tenderness reared the child and has to receive from it, a daughter's love and daily services. Read More	Source: The Victor Record 2/17/1909 Mary Hester Nace, daughter of Wm. K. Nace and Mary Hester Sage, was born March 4th, 1870 near Victor, and entered into rest Sunday morning Feb. 7, 1909. Mrs. Nace died two weeks after Hester's birth, leaving her to the care of her grandmother Sage who, with a mother's tenderness reared the child and has to receive from it, a daughter's love and daily services. Eight years ago Hester with her grandmother and uncle, Wendell Sage, moved from the farm to Victor, where she entered at once a circle of friends which has constantly widened with the years of her residence among us. She was married July 17, 1901 to P. A. Harrier and with him has spent almost eight happy years. To them were born three children, Miriam Blanche, Eletha Fay and an infant son, the latter having preceded his mother to the heavenly home. Mrs. Harrier was of an essentially domestic character; her home was her all. To it she gave unstintingly her time, her strength and her love, and was fully rewarded by the devotion of her husband, and the love of her children and grandmother who survive to mourn their irreparable loss. At the age of thirty she became a member of the Methodist Episcopal church, and has ever lived a consistent christian life, respected by all her acquaintances, and loved by her many friends for her cheerful, patient, appreciative character. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. W. J. Hamilton Feb. 10th at 2 p.m. at the residence. Interment in the I.O.O.F. cemetery.
