Caring for flowers were the Richard Brandts and the Robert Michaleks, Victor. Burial was in the Independent Order of Odd Fellows cemetery, Victor. Casket bearers were James Collins, Kevin Rohrer, both of Victor; Marty Kolars, Malcom, Brian Nixon, Monticello, Minn., James Roth, Ames, and Richard Schlesselman, Parnell. Kevin Rohrer is a grandson and the others are grandsons-in-law. M. Blanche Rohrer was born March 26, 1903 in Victor, the daughter of Peter Alfred and Hester Mary Nace Harrier. She attended schools in Victor and Marengo and was a 1922 graduate of Marengo high school. She attended Iowa State College, Ames, for one year and later taught at the Little Red School, rural Victor. She married Raymond G. Rohrer, Oct. 15, 1925 at Marengo where the couple made their home for a time before moving to Victor. While living in Victor Mrs. Rohrer was employed as a cook at the Victor school and also employed by the Victor State Bank. She was a member of the United Methodist church, Victor, and the United Methodist Women. She is survived by her husband, Raymond, two sons, Donald D. and Richard A., all of Victor; seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and one sister, Eletha F. Harrier, Grinnell. She was preceded in death by her parents and an infant brother.
