Sterling, died at her home in Asbury Thursday morning, at the age of 82 years. She was one of the community's best known and most loved matrons and had been in ill health for the past 18 years. The daughter of the late Carter Sterling and Priscilla Somers Sterling, she was born and reared here and lived here all her life. Read More	ASBURY MATRON DIED THURSDAY Funeral Services Sunday For Mrs. Hettie Sterling Mrs. Hettie Sterling, wife of Mr. Albert W. Sterling, died at her home in Asbury Thursday morning, at the age of 82 years. She was one of the community's best known and most loved matrons and had been in ill health for the past 18 years. The daughter of the late Carter Sterling and Priscilla Somers Sterling, she was born and reared here and lived here all her life. In her younger days she was active in the social and religious life of her community. Mrs. Sterling was a fine motherly woman who found pleasure and contentment in her home life and doing for her family. She had a sweet disposition that endeared her to everyone with whom she came into contact, and was held in great affection by relatives and friends alike. Even though her health was bad for many years, she still found time for neighborly acts of kindness and kept in touch with many of her friends. While it was generally known she was seriously ill the last week of ten days, death came as a shock to relatives and friends alike. Funeral services will be held in Asbury Methodist Church Sunday afternoon at 2.30 o'clock, conducted by the rector, Rev. Robert E. Green. Interment will be in Asbury cemetery. Besides her husband, she is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Edmund Tull, Miss Harriett Sterling, Miss Mabel Sterling and Miss Mary Sterling, one granddaughter, Mrs. W. L.
