Description	:	MRS. HILDA BUTLER PASSED AWAY Mrs. Hilda Butler, wife of Mr. Clarence G. Butler, one of the community's well known and highly respected matrons, died in the McCready Hospital Thursday morning. She had entered the hospital the previous day. She was 53 years of age. Mrs. Butler was the daughter of Mrs. Alice Ward Moore and the late James Moore, and was born and reared here. Butler, one of the community's well known and highly respected matrons, died in the McCready Hospital Thursday morning. She had entered the hospital the previous day. She was 53 years of age. Mrs. Butler was the daughter of Mrs. Alice Ward Moore and the late James Moore, and was born and reared here. She had been in ill health for some months, and recently was a patient in the Salisbury Hospital. Wednesday, she became critically ill, and was rushed to the hospital for treatment. Mrs. Butler was a woman of fine personality, devoted to her family, a very energetic person who was happiest when busy. By her friendliness and cheerful, courteous manner, she had gained a wide circle of warm friends who held her in deep affection. She had been a very good and helpful neighbor, responsive in times of sorrow, sickness and distress, and had endeared herself to many people by her understanding and sympathetic acts. Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock in the Bradshaw-Covington Funeral Home here, conducted by the Rev. Frank A. Baker, pastor of Asbury Methodist Church. Burial will be in Asbury Cemetery. Surviving her are her husband, her mother, a daughter, Mrs. Sanford Reynolds, Jr., of Princeton, N. J., a step-son, Clarence G. Butler, Jr., a brother, Harry Moore, and one grandchild. Friends may call at the Funeral Home this, Friday, evening after 7:00 o'clock.
