Read More	Dayton Review February 14, 1952 OBITUARY Miss Hildur Anderson Miss Hildur Anderson, widely known Webster County resident died at her home in Harcourt, Sunday morning, February 3, after an illness of six weeks. Miss Anderson was a faithful worker of the Harcourt Mission Covenant Church, having joined this church in 1904 and had also been confirmed there. She was especially interested in Missions. Her home was always open to the missionaries while they were home on leave from their fields, and many times were entertained there. She served gladly and gave unselfishly of her services to the Sunday School as a teacher and to the Church in various capacities. She was an active member of the W.C.T.U. in which she took a vital interest. Being a lover of flowers and gardening, she spent endless hours working in the great outdoors. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon, February 6, at two o'clock at the Harcourt Mission Covenant Church with the Rev. Wayne E. Cooke officiating. Mrs. Wayne E. Cooke sang a Swedish hymn and "Beyond the Sunset." Mrs. Emory Gustafson served as pianist. Pallbearers were: David Bogren, Ray Elg, Emory Gustafson, Paul Gustafson, Victor Gustafson and Albert Martinson. Added to the beautiful floral tributes were gifts in memoriam which were given in her memory by relatives and friends. Interment was made in the Dayton Cemetery with the Palmer Funeral Home of Gowrie in charge. Hildur Cornelia Anderson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Abraham Anderson, was born November 25, 1876 in Dayton Township on a farm southeast of Harcourt and passed away Sunday morning, February 3, 1952 at her home in Harcourt at the age of 75 years, two months and eight days. In 1911 she moved to Harcourt with her parents and brother, Carl. On Friday, December 21, while attending funeral services for an aged neighbor she suffered a stroke. Seemingly not improving, it was necessary for her to go to the hospital. After two weeks of care there she wished to be taken to her home. There she was ably taken care of and the past before her departure her sister, Teckla, cared for her. Her parents and two brothers preceded her in death. Surviving are her sister, Teckla, Mrs. Frank W. Peterson and her husband and four nephews: Oliver, Theodore, John, Reuben and their families, other relatives and a host of friends. She left behind her the testimony of a genuinely sincere and devout Christian life. May the memory of her devoted life to her Lord and Savior, challenge us to a fuller life of service.
