| Description | : | Cousin Hiram was the son of Joshua Greenland and Anna Stains Greenland. He married Sarah Campbell on October 9, 1845 in Cassville, Pa. The family moved to Iowa after their two oldest children, Mary Jane Greenland and Thomas Greenland burned down the house in 1856. They settled in Batavia, Iowa because Hiram's sisters and brothers had moved there many years before. Hiram was a harness maker in Cassville, Pa and in Batavia, Iowa for awhile.
