Hiska Jane Kleeman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Kleeman, was born July 2, 1869, at Forreston, ILL. As a child, she came to Plymouth county, Iowa, with her parents. They lived at Le Mars about two years and then located in the Akron vicinity, which had remained Mrs. Boden's home for the past sixty three years. She was united in marriage with Andrew Boden at Hawarden, Iowa, fifty-three years ago, and they started housekeeping on Mr. Boden's homestead, near Chatsworth, Iowa. Mir. Boden passed away March 28, 1929, at their home, west of Akron. Mrs. Boden is survived by her four sons, William, of St. Paul, Minn., Ed., of Sioux Falls, S. D., John and Francis, of Los Angeles, Calif.; also, by four brothers, Jacob and Ed. Kleeman of Salem, Oregon, E. A. Kleeman, of Moffatt, N. D., and George Kleeman, of Mountain Lake, Minn., and one sister, Mrs. George Schriner, of Lodi, Wis. Funeral services were held in St. Patrick's church in Akron Rev, Charles Ernst officiating and interment made in St. Patrick's [Joseph] cemetery.
