Description	:	The Hooper Sentinel April 4, 1968 Howard Heller, 69, Dies Suddenly. Rites Were Monday Funeral services were held Monday at the Redeemer Lutheran Church for Howard J. E. Heller Sr., 69, who died suddenly on Thursday evening at the Dodge County Community Hospital. The Rev. Henry Gittler officiated at the service, with Orville Von Seggern as soloist and Mrs. Edmund Wagner, organist. Pallbearers were Gordon Carlson, Norman Keller, Clarence Wagner, Clinton Wagner, Raymond Wolf and Elwood Wobken. Interment was in the Hooper Cemetery, with Wollmer & Warne in charge. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, James; one brother and two sisters. Mr. Heller was born to Mr. and Mrs. William Heller (nee Eliza Uehling) on Sept. 21, 1890 on the same farm where he spent his entire life. He married Mabel Jahrmarkt on April 21, 1925 at Snyder. Mr. Heller was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church, and a past member of the Hooper Commercial Club. In 1967, he received the Pioneer Farm Award and was recognized by Ak-Sar-Ben with the 100 Year award, given when the same family resides on the same farm for 100 years or more.
