Description	:	July, 1903 A pleasure seeking party composed of Mrs George Minnich and children, Miss Ida Huddleston, Mrs Roberts and Mrs Malmsbury of St Paris met with a bad accident Monday afternoon in which all received injuries. They were riding in a two-seated trap, east of town on this side of the Detroit Southern Tract when the king bolt broke, letting the running gears run out from under the rig. Dr Offenbacher was called to attend their wounds. Urbana - Nov 24, 1903 Miss Ida Huddleston died at the home of her mother in St Paris Monday afternoon after an illness of several months. She was 45 years of age and had been employed as a teacher in the public schools of the village for many years. From childhood the deceased had been a victim of physical deformity but she bore her sufferings with a patience and cheerfulness that was remarkable and by her many kindnesses endeared herself to all those who came within the scope of her influence. About four months ago she, together with her mother and sister, Mrs Minnich, was starting out for a days outing in the woods. As they neared the Detroit Southern the horse scared and ran away, throwing the occupants out. the shock to her nervous system was so great that she never recovered and the accident was primarily the cause of her death.
