Born in Chelsea, March 13, 1891, she was the daughter of the late J. Allen and Annie (Henley) Baker. She was a member of the Bridgewater Baptist Church, and always held a keen interest in its activities. She is survived by two sons, Bob, Riverview, N.B.; Jack, Dartmouth; a sister Eva (Mrs. Jack) Hudgins, Bridgewater; a brother Archie, Victoria, B.C.; six grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. The funeral was held Thursday, Feb. 17 at 3:30 p.m. in Bridgewater United Baptist Church, Rev. Allan Griffin officiating, choir and organist in attendance. Rev. Griffin truly voiced the loving thoughts and esteem of her family and a host of her friends, whe he said that she was a "saint", a wonderful "mother", "grandmother", "sister" and "friend". Pall bearers were Stephen March, Jack Danson, Ralph Montgomery, Tremaine Fraser, Glendon Langille and Robert Warren. Burial in Brookside Cemetery. With thanks to ALIB.
