She leaves to mourn her departure, Edna of Ithaca Lilly Manske of Ceresco, Meta Kruger of Herman, Elsa Scheuneman of Lincoln, Nettie Hageman of Ithaca, Rudolph of Swedeburg, Amos of El Monte, CA, one brother Ferdinand of Fremont, 25 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren and many other relatives and friends. She was a great reader of the Bible, from its pages she found refuge and strength, and courage for her faithfulness to Christ. She loved to worship in her church and faithfully attended the services when physically able. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon March 9, at the United Brethren church with Rev. W. C. Niff officiating. Burial was in Indian Mound Cemetery. Pallbearers were Lawrence and Robert Scheuneman, Ewalt Hageman, Jr, Kenneth Hanke, Ernest Manske, and Harlan Kruger. The mens quartet, Francis Hass, Lawrence Frahm, Harold Robbins and Frank Hageman sang. Printed in the Wahoo Newspaper, March 18, 1949 / research from OmaHanke.
