Read More	Her obituary reads: Last week's Leader told about the death of Mrs. Ida May Petet wife of Bert Petet and stated that an obituary would be published in the following issue. This obituary was brought to this office Tuesday of this week and is as follows: Ida May Hively, daughter of Hezekiah and Sarah Hively, was born at Loup City, Nebraska, September 21, 1884, and passed away at her home near Mason City, Nebraska, February 13, 1937, at the age of 53 years, 4 months and 23 days. She was united in marriage to Edward Bert Petet November 28, 1900. To this union were born thirteen children. One daughter, Mrs. Lillie McCallum preceded her in death, passing away February 21, 1934. Two sons, Lemuel Hezekiah and Richard Lowell, passed away in infancy. Those left to mourn her passing are, husband, and ten living children, Bert, Ervin, Emma, Eva, Elva, all at home, Grant Petet of Ansley, Nebraska; Mrs. Almeda Dye of Taylor, Nebraska; Mrs. Edna Sailor and Mrs. Viola Dye of Colorado; and Mrs. Martha Sickler of Kearney, Nebraska. She is survived by one sister, Mrs. Emma Barton of Genoa, Illinois; and by three brothers, Ervin Hively of Elkhart, Iowa; David Hively of Omaha, Nebraska; and Edward Hively of Casper, Wyoming. She also leaves nineteen grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. She was converted and baptized in the Church of God which faith she held at the time of her death. Her passing leaves a vacancy in the hearts of those who knew her. She was a faithful wife and mother. Funeral services in charge of Rev. K.W. Lemmon, pastor of, the Church of God of Taylor, Nebraska, assisted by Rev. C.M. Estabrook, pastor of the M.E. church of Sargent, Nebraska. Wednesday afternoon, February 17, "Face to Face". "In The Garden", and "Saved By Grace", were sung by Mrs. C.M. Estabrook and Mrs. Bert Amos with Mrs. John Lovejoy at the piano. The pallbearers were Harry Bentley, Perry Buckbee, Roy Probert, Albert Smith, Mert Amos and Milo Moore. Interment was made in the Douglas Grove cemetery.
