Description	:	Her obituary reads: Lydia Almeda, the daughter of Bert and Ida Petet, was born at Comstock, February 29, 1908; and died at University hospital in Omaha November 29, 1958 at the age of 50 years and 9 months. She attended the Free Methodist Church in Ansley. She was united in marriage to Clarence Dye, September 17, 1927, at Broken Bow. To this union, 9 children were born. She attended the Free Methodist Church in Ansley. She was united in marriage to Clarence Dye, September 17, 1927, at Broken Bow. To this union, 9 children were born. Except for a short time when she resided in Colorado, and lived her life in Custer county. She was preceded in death by one sister and two brothers who died in infancy. Her mother died in February, 1937, and her father, Bert, on August 3, 1958. Survivors include her husband, Clarence; their children, Orville Dye, Denver; Louis Dye, Kearney; Doris Golden, Lexington; Margaret Smith of Chicago; Mary Harmon of Ansley and Junior, Ruth, Lyle and Ella still at home; three brothers and six sisters. Funeral services were conducted on December 2 from the Free Methodist church in Sargent with the Rev. Floyd Cooper in charge assisted by the Rev. Judson Lanum. Interment was made in the Sargent cemetery. Pallbearers were Simon Shada, Lamont Cooper, George Griffin, Ira Harmon, Charles Thompson and Ted Schmidt.
