Description	:	Daughter of Joseph Hutcheson and Mary Clifford Valentine. Although her tombstone does not give her date of birth, it does state that she was 58 at her death. This seems unlikely as her parents were married Nov. 17, 1825 and a subsequent 9 month pregnancy would result in an August 1826 birth. Her sister, Martha, was born August 22, 1826, as is inscribed on her tombstone. If Indiana were Martha's twin, she would not have turned 58 until after August 22, 1884, but she died in May. Her sister, Martha, was born August 22, 1826, as is inscribed on her tombstone. If Indiana were Martha's twin, she would not have turned 58 until after August 22, 1884, but she died in May. There is a gap of 4 years to include the birth of a daughter Sarah between the birth of Martha and the youngest brother, John V., leaving the likelihood that Indiana was born in those intervening years. However, the other indication that she may have been a twin and that the age of 58 is incorrectly inscribed is that her father's will placed her ahead of his daughter, Martha. All of the other children are listed by gender and sequence of birth. If she were born after Martha she should have been numerated below Martha and not ahead of her. The census reports from 1850 onward are inconclusive.
