Memorial services will be held this summer at the United Methodist Church in Fort Benton. Before the death of her husband of 58 years Thomas Glen Bramlette, they jointly decided to combine their ashes. Half of their ashes will be scattered over the hill where the yellow bells bloom on the ranch, and the other half will be buried in the Masonic lot of the Riverside Cemetery following her memorial service. Memorial services will be held this summer at the United Methodist Church in Fort Benton. Before the death of her husband of 58 years Thomas Glen Bramlette, they jointly decided to combine their ashes. Half of their ashes will be scattered over the hill where the yellow bells bloom on the ranch, and the other half will be buried in the Masonic lot of the Riverside Cemetery following her memorial service. Inez was born January 9, 1915, in the town of Geraldine, MT. She was the sixth child of ten born to Sigfried Silan and Inez Euphemia (Friedlund) Anderson. On the way home after her birth, traveling in a horse drawn sleigh, a great Montana blizzard threatened the very lives of Inez and her parents. This was the first survival incident of many that were encountered during her growing up years on the homestead. After graduating from Geraldine High School in 1933, she attended Great Falls Commercial College. Inez enjoyed working in retail at The Paris of Montana in Great Falls and later in Fort Benton at Woodward's Dry Goods. On September 1, 1938 at the Fort Benton United Methodist Church, Inez married Thomas Glen Bramlette in a double wedding ceremony with her sister Ethel Anderson and Joe Vielleux. Her married years were spent between working the ranch 9 miles south of Fort Benton and their town home on Front Street. She was a life-time member of the Order of Eastern Star, Bethany Chapter 42, the United Methodist Church, and Home Demonstration Club of Fort Benton. Inez enjoyed church and masonic activities as well as cooking, gardening, card games, and family. She was the quintessential housewife and hostess to her family and friends. There was always a full meal for anyone at any time. Her great-grandchildren called her "Grandma Snackshop". Survivors include her son, General (retired) Bruce Glen Bramlette and his wife Miriam (Doles) of Fort Benton, daughter Lynda Bramlette Smith of Plano, TX, and her brother Eric Anderson of Geraldine. Along with a multitude of extended relatives, Inez is also survived by five grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. They include Elaine Fox of Couer D'Alene, ID and her daughters Lindsey and Kelly Jo; Karen Shaw and her husband, Kevin of Fort Benton and their children Kaylee, Bryant, Macee and Riley; Robyn Lewis and her husband Kipp of Havre and their daughters Addyson, Ellyn and Malyn Inez; and Bramlette Smith of Plano, Texas and son Jonah Glen; and Anika Vaughan of Plano, Texas and son Lucas.
