Description	:	OBITUARY: Inez Mae (Kauffman) Lutz was born on a farm in the Grand Forks district south of Tofield on March 7, 1940 to Loyal and Lily (Stalter) Kauffman. She attended school at Bardo and Tofield. Together with her family she attended the Salem Mennonite Church where she accepted Christ as her Savior and was baptized. She enjoyed the Youth Fellowship and the close friendship of the group. In 1957, she began work at the Bank of Montreal in Tofield where she enjoyed meeting people as a part of her job. Read More	OBITUARY: Inez Mae (Kauffman) Lutz was born on a farm in the Grand Forks district south of Tofield on March 7, 1940 to Loyal and Lily (Stalter) Kauffman. She attended school at Bardo and Tofield. Together with her family she attended the Salem Mennonite Church where she accepted Christ as her Savior and was baptized. She enjoyed the Youth Fellowship and the close friendship of the group. In 1957, she began work at the Bank of Montreal in Tofield where she enjoyed meeting people as a part of her job. On June 25, 1965 she was united in marriage to Walter Lutz and together they have farmed on the family farm southeast of Holden. They have been involved in several community organizations in both Holden and Bruce where they developed many close friendships. Inez enjoyed cooking, sewing, quilting, gardening, and being a homemaker and mother. Inez passed away very suddenly of heart failure at her home on Friday evening June 17, 1988 at the age of 48 years, 3 months, and 10 days. She is survived by her husband Walter; her son Dale & her daughter Joyce; a special family member Virgil Roth; her father Loyal Kauffman of Tofield; 3 sisters Betty & husband Merlin Stauffer of Calgary, Ellen & husband Leo Lauber of Tofield, Grace and husband Edwin Good of Edmonton; 2 brothers Donald & wife Dolores of Edmonton, Joe & wife Elaine of Tofield; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by her mother Lily in 1975. Her loving care, kindness, and hospitality will never be forgotted. A precious one from us has gone A voice we loved is stilled, A place is vacant in our home Which never can be filled. God in His wisdom has recalled The boon his love had given, And though the body slumbers here, The soul is safe in Heaven.
