The Greenwood Cemetery Association has recorded this Anglicized spelling of "Burkhart" for "Infant Son" (Burkhardt) Burckhardt and for one other infant, Francis (Frances) Vernon (Burkhart) Burckhardt (1895-1895), whose parents are Anna (Moriarty) Burkhart (Sept 15, 1864, to April 14, 1941 in Cincinnati, Ohio) and Frank J. Burkhart ( Frank J. Burkhart on Jan 28, 1890 in Hamilton County Ohio. Frank was born around 1868 in Ohio and died Dec 5,1946 in Newark, Licking County Ohio.. Nevertheless, this Memorial employs the original spelling of Infant Son Burkhardt's surname in order to indicate clearly his relationship to his parents, Edward Carl Burkhardt (1894-1988) and Elsie M. (Beckmire) Burkhardt (1889-1957), and to at least twelve other Burkhardt family members who are interred at Greenwood Cemetery.
