Description	:	Ingeborg Gustafva Jones Carman, age 81, of Amherst, died late Tuesday afternoon at Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney where she had been a patient for the past nine days. Services were held at the Grace Lutheran Church of Pleasanton with the Rev. John Peterson officiating. Burial was in the Pleasant Valley Cemetery. Ingeborg was born November 22, 1897 to Sven Elof (Jonasson) and Hilda Gunnesdotter Jones. Jones was the name taken after their marriage. Ingeborg was born November 22, 1897 to Sven Elof (Jonasson) and Hilda Gunnesdotter Jones. Jones was the name taken after their marriage. "Ink" grew up in the Prairie Bell area of Buffalo County and attended the school by that name. Her parents had come to Nebraska from Sweden and lived on a farm in Section 19 of Loup Township. Ingeborg was an accomplished pianist, playing entirely by ear. Ingeborg and Robert Carman were married March 28, 1917 and made their home northwest of Sartoria. They were the parents of two children: Hilda Minnie "Shorty" and Lindbergh "Lindy". Survivors include a son, Lindy Carman of Amherst; one daughter, Hilda West of Las Vegas, Nevada; 10 grandchildren; a sister, Olga Bauer of Litchfield; and a brother Carter Jones of Sacramento, California. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert who died in 1957; her sister Hilda Pfeiffer; and brothers, Herman, John, Elmer "Irish", Victor, Luther, Garfield "Buck", Morris "Gunne", and Rufus "Deker" Jones
