Mrs. Iona Hudachek was born in the Sharon community January 16, 1915, to Clarence and Ethel Cline Schenk. She was married to Arthur Hudachek December 14, 1943. She was a member of the Sharon Methodist Episcopal church and the South Prairie Social club. Mrs. Iona Hudachek was born in the Sharon community January 16, 1915, to Clarence and Ethel Cline Schenk. She was married to Arthur Hudachek December 14, 1943. She was a member of the Sharon Methodist Episcopal church and the South Prairie Social club. Survivors include her husband; three daughters, Marie, Linda, and Elaine, all at home; her mother in Riverside; three sisters, Hazel Schenk of Riverside, Mrs. Fred Miller of Iowa City and Mrs. Ed Watkinson of Cedar Rapids; a brother, Harold Schenk of Iowa City. She was preceded in death by her father in 1954 and a brother, Clair, who died in service in 1945. Services were held Tuesday at the Oathout Funeral chapel in Iowa City with the Rev. Ray E. Orr of West Liberty and the Rev. Jerry Brown of here officiating. Burial was in the Sharon Methodist Episcopal church cemetery.
