Funeral services will be held at the McVey Funeral home Friday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock and burial will be in Memorial Lawn cemetery. Both his parents died before he was 14 years old. After their death[s], he lived at the home of an uncle. He married Mabel Brodrick in Clarksdale, August 8, 1906. The family moved to their present farmhome northeast of Americus on Allen creek in 1919. Mr. Karr was a member of the Clarksdale Baptist church. He is survived by his wife; two children, Mrs. Wilma Davidson, of Allen; and Orren Karr, Rt. 2.
