Read More	Obituary - Irene Forsberg Voskamp The Oakland Independent March 4, 1999 Irene Voskamp Funeral services for Irene A. Voskamp were held Mon., Mar. 1., 1999 at Sinai Lutheran Church in Fremont. She died Thurs., Feb. 25, 1999 at A. J. Merrick Manor in Fremont at the age of 79 years. The Rev. Michael Ostrom officiated at the service. Pallbearers were Corie and James Voskamp Scott and Todd Wachter and Charles and Howard Forsberg. Burial was in the Elim Lutheran Cemetery at Swaburg. She was born Jan. 18, 1920 at Craig to Robert and Amelia (Luther) Forsberg. She grew up in the Uehling area. After her marriage on July 20, 1941 to Harold F. Voskamp, she lived in Uehling for two years and then moved to a farm by Craig were she and her husband farmed for ten years. She went to Fremont in 1954 where she worked at the Campbell's Soup Co., the Monarch Cleaners and retired from Hipke Cleaners. She was a member of Sinai Lutheran Church in Fremont and the Fraternal Order of Eagles #200 Auxiliary of Fremont. Survivors include her husband, Harold; son and daughter- in-law, Harold and Edie Voskamp of Ashland; daughters, Lois (Mrs. Tom) Wachter of Herman and Kathleen Voskamp of Fremont; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Luther E. and ReAnn Forsberg of Fremont and Leonard and Wilma Forsberg of Valley; sisters and brother-in-law, Ruth Meyer of Fremont, and Lila and Max West of Blair; sister-in-law, Arlys Forsberg of Fremont; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Robert and Eddie Forsberg. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Obituary - Irene Forsberg Voskamp The Hooper/Scribner Rustler/Sentinel March 3, 1999 Irene A. Voskamp Irene A. Voskamp, 81, of Fremont passed away Thursday, February 15, 1999, at A. J. Merrick Manor in Fremont. Irene was born to Robert and Amelia (Luther) Forsberg on January 18, 1920, in Craig. She grew up in the Uehling area. On July 20, 1941, she married Harold F. Voskamp at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, five mile north of Hooper. After her marriage, she lived in Uehling for two years. She then moved to a farm by Craig where she and her husband farmed for ten years. She came to Fremont in 1954. Irene worked at the former Campbell's Soup Co. in Fremont, the former Monarch Cleaners and retired from the former Hipke Cleaners in Fremont. She was a member of Sinai Lutheran Church in Fremont and the Fraternal Order of Eagles #200 Auxiliary of Fremont.
