Description	:	Irene M. Fruchey, 91, of Napoleon, Ohio, went peacefully to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 6, 2021 at her home. She was greeted there by her loving husband, Jack of nearly seventy years and her son, Gary. She was born to William and Josephine (Rhodes) Glanz of Napoleon on May 9, 1929. She was a graduate of Liberty Center High School. On August 14, 1949 she married her soul mate, Jack C. Fruchey, who preceded her in death on November 28, 2017. Fruchey, 91, of Napoleon, Ohio, went peacefully to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 6, 2021 at her home. She was greeted there by her loving husband, Jack of nearly seventy years and her son, Gary. She was born to William and Josephine (Rhodes) Glanz of Napoleon on May 9, 1929. She was a graduate of Liberty Center High School. On August 14, 1949 she married her soul mate, Jack C. Fruchey, who preceded her in death on November 28, 2017. They shared a loving life together and raised four sons. Irene owned and operated a nursery school in Napoleon for many years. She also worked at Sears for twenty years. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Napoleon and in more recent years attended Napoleon Church of the Nazarene. Once Irene and Jack retired they often traveled on their motor cycle to many places including the Rocky Mountains. They both cherished their family and spending as much time together as they could. Irene and Jack also enjoyed dancing and were known for taking over the dance floor. Irene also enjoyed gardening and attending her gardening club meetings. She was talented at knitting and made sure every grandchild had their own afghan. Her smile was unending just like her love for her family. They brought her so much pride and happiness. Irene will be remembered for her kind and golden heart, to say she will be dearly missed is an understatement. Left to cherish her memory are she sons, Mark E. Fruchey, Paul N. (Elizabeth A.) Fruchey and Keith A. Fruchey; eight grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, William and Josephine Glanz ,husband, Jack and son, Gary Fruchey. She is also preceded in death by her five siblings. A private graveside service will be held at Glenwood Cemetery. Memorials in Irene's memory may be considered to Hospice of Northwest Ohio or Henry County Meals On Wheels Program. Funeral arrangements are entrusted with Walker-Hoening Mortuary of Napoleon.
