Description	:	Irene M. Fellows, 82, of Kearney died Thursday, Dec. 9, 2010, at Mother Hull Home. Irene was born July 6, 1928, near Elm Creek to Ellsworth and Irene (Chapman) Steele. On Dec. 11, 1947, she married Dale Fellows. They later divorced. Survivors are: daughters, Eileen Crowe and her husband, J.B., of Benton, Tenn., and Jan Sommer and her husband, Kelly, of Kearney; sister, Hortense Pagni of Knoxville, Tenn.; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; one expected great-grandson; and one great-great-granddaughter. Irene was a member of the First Baptist Church and the American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars and Eagle's auxiliaries. Irene was always helpful and kind to those around her. She loved politics, cooking and spending time with family and friends. Irene was preceded in death by: parents; daughter, Dale Leigh Fellows; sisters, Ruth Erickson and Frances Wright; and brother, Tannis Vath. Burial was in the Prairie Home Cemetery, Holdrege, NE.
