Description	:	Irvin Miller Rites Today Funeral services were conducted this afternoon, Wednesday, Nov. 14, for Irvin miller, 74, Foster, who died Sunday at a Norfolk hospital. The last rites were conducted at the Congregational Church in Plainview with burial at Pleasant View Cemetery. The Rev. Leo Zillig officiated at the services. Judy Beaudette was organist. Special music included a solo, “How Great Thou Art”, by Nanci Lingenfelter and a piano and organ duet by Mrs. Beuadette and Diann Frahm. Honorary bearers were Joe Nave, Covell Musick, Emil Reikofski, Elbert Evans, Arthur Buchholz, William Bohl and Ray Lehnert. Irvin Miller was born Dec. 23, 1909 on a farm south of Plainview to Jim an Jennie (Christensen) Miller. He attended District 12 south of Plainview and as a young man farmed in the area. During WWII he lived in California, working in a shipyard. He returned to Plainview in the early 50’s and on June 25, 1952, was married t Helen Wright at Fremont. After their marriage, they farmed south of Plainview until 1973 when they moved to Foster. He was a member of the Congregation Church in Plainview and the Danish brotherhood Lodge. Survivors include his wife, Helen; a daughter, Charlotte (Mrs. Eugene) Samuelson of Indian Hills, CO; two grandchildren, three great grandchildren; one brother, Walt of Plainview; three sisters, Dimer Johnson and Mary Miller of Plainview and Martha Lambert of Craig. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and one brother.
