| Description | : | Isaac Day was the son of Bryan Day and Rachel Stephenson. Isaac was in the first company, Company F, Sixth Iowa Infantry, from Clarke County to be mustered into the service of the United States Civil War on July 17, 1861. Isaac had re-enlisted on January 26, 1864 and was slightly wounded at Lovejoys Station, Georgia on September 2, 1864. He was discharged on July 21, 1865 at Louisville, Kentucky.
