Mr. Wickersham was 91 years old. Isaac Maurice Wickersham, son of Sam and Sarah Wickersham was born August 2, 1846 in Highland County, Ohio. At the age of 17 years, he enlisted in the Second Ohio Regiment, Company F, heavy artillery and served during the civil war. In 1867, he was married to Jennie Young, who preceded him in death in July 1908. The server children who survive are Mrs. Emma Osborn, McAllen, Texas; John, Fairmont, Minnesota; Leighton, Ontario, California; Lester, Cedarvale, New Mexico, and Mrs. Edith Shields, Mrs. Erma Brown, and Roy of Omaha. Two sons preceded the father in death. Mr. and Mrs. Wickersham moved from Ohio in 1872 to Mahaska County, Iowa, where they lived two years, after which they moved to Taylor County, where they resided nearly 30 years. In 1904 they moved to Villisca where 4 years later Mrs. Wickersham died. In 1915 Mr. Wickersham was married to Catherine Goodwin, who died March 4, 1933 after which he moved to Omaha were he lived with his son Roy. In early life Mr. Wickersham became affiliated with the United Brethren Church in Beford, then transferred his membership to the Villisca Christian Church. R. Enlisted as a Private in Company F, 2nd Ohio Light Artillery on February 22, 1864. Promoted to Corporal on June 16, 1865. Mustered out of Federal Service on August 23, 1865 at Nashville, TN. Married to Cornelia Jennie Young on on September 19, 1867 in Highland County, Ohio. Children: Carrie, Em, John, Leighton, James, Russell, Mamie, Edith, Lester, and Erma. She died July 5, 1908. Married Catherine Holmes Greenlee in 1915 in Montgomery County, Iowa
