Description	:	Mrs. I. M. Wickersham, 82, a resident of Villisca since 1871, died suddenly at 10 a.m. Sunday at her home here, following a heart attack. Although in failing health for several years, Mrs. Wickersham had not been seriously ill and her sudden death came as a shock to her friends and relatives. Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Wednesday in the Meyerhoff & Pitman funeral home on Fourth Avenue with the Rev. Arthur Mortensen, pastor of the local Presbyterian Church in charge. Singing was by a quartet composed of Mr. and Mrs. H. H. Nordyke, Miss Margaret Hausen and J. H. Todd and pall bearers were G. J. Edwards, H. C. Lindell, F. S. Pierson, R. L. Maxey, T. G. Brenton, and Frank Lenhart. Burial was made in Villisca Cemetery. Catherine Greenly was born January 8, 1851 at Hillsboro, Ohio, a daughter of Thomas Franklin and Eliza Ann Greenly. She was married January , 1872 to Butler Davis and they came immediately to Villisca where they established their home. To them was born one son, Frank M. Davis, of Denver, Colorado, who survives. Mr. Davis died here two years after coming to Villisca. Mrs. Wickersham later married Dr. Pittman, Villisca physician, and three sons were born to them, of whom one died in childhood. The sons who survive are Charles Pittman of San Francisco, California, and George Pittman of Los Angeles, California. Dr. Pittman precede his wife in death. Mrs. Wickersham was married to I. M. Wickersham in Villisca about eighteen years ago and they have made their residence on West Sixth Street. Besides her husband and three sons, she is survived by Mrs. Eliza J. Mann, of Villisca. Mrs. Whickersham was a member of the Baptist Church and of the local G.A.R. circle i which she was an active member and an officer for many years. Relatives from a distance who were here for the funeral include the following, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Davis and son Hill and Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Davis, all of Denver, Colorado, Mr. and Mrs. John Wickersham of Fairmont, Minnesota, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Wickersham of Omaha, Mr. and Mrs. Burleigh Shields and family and Mr. and Mrs. Brown of Omaha. She was married three times and had four sons. She died on March 4, 1933, in Villisca, Iowa, at the age of 81. Catherine H. Greenlee married William B. Davis on January 7, 1872, when she was 20 years old. Catherine H. Greenlee married Dr. Dillard Pittman in 1879 when she was 28 years old. Catherine H. Greenlee married L.M. Wickersham in 1915 when she was 64 years old. Catherine H. Greenlee died on March 4, 1933, in Villisca, Iowa, when she was 81 years old.
