Description	:	Unknown Newspaper, October 1927 Sarah Agnes Miller, the eldest daughter of the late Pinkney S. Miller, was born in Miller County, Mo., Feb. 28, 1850. Her father was said to be the first white male child born in Miller County. She was married to Lewis D. Atkinson, August 8, 1875. To this union were born three sons and two daughters. She obeyed the gospel at Mount Pleasant under the preaching of Elder T.S. Read More	Unknown Newspaper, October 1927 Sarah Agnes Miller, the eldest daughter of the late Pinkney S. Miller, was born in Miller County, Mo., Feb. 28, 1850. Her father was said to be the first white male child born in Miller County. She was married to Lewis D. Atkinson, August 8, 1875. To this union were born three sons and two daughters. She obeyed the gospel at Mount Pleasant under the preaching of Elder T.S. Phillips and lived a devoted member of the church of Christ until her death which occurred at her home in Eldon, Mo., Oct. 25, 1927, at the age of 77 years, 8 months and 2 days. She is survived by her husband and four children. The children who survive are: Mrs. Margaret Haynes, Charlie Atkinson, Mary Snodgrass and Fred Atkinson. One son, James, died in 1908. There is also one stepdaughter, Mrs. Dollie Russell; also four sisters, Mrs. Malindy Hinds, Mrs. Isaphene Long, Mrs. Fannie Bacon and Mrs. Lauree Starling. There are five grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. W.H. Scott, at the church in Eldon, Thursday, Oct. 27, in the presence of an unusually large congregation of relatives, friends and neighbores. The scripture used was the 23rd Psalm with its application to the departed sister. "I will cone to thee in the morning dear, The night is dark, I may not know how near, the dawn of endless day, I will cling to faith, and watch ???"
