Description	:	FISHER, ISOLA—Isola Fisher, daughter of Alexander and Gertrude Fisher, was born in Yates county, New York, November 9, 1864. She departed this life at her home in Geneva township Wednesday, January 23, 1929, at 12:25 p.m. aged 64 years, 2 months and 14 days. Miss Fisher came to Nebraska with her parents at the age of then years. She went through the hardships of pioneer days on the homestead which her father took up in 1876, and which remained her home until she departed this life. Miss Fisher was of a kind, quiet and gentle disposition,... Read More	FISHER, ISOLA—Isola Fisher, daughter of Alexander and Gertrude Fisher, was born in Yates county, New York, November 9, 1864. She departed this life at her home in Geneva township Wednesday, January 23, 1929, at 12:25 p.m. aged 64 years, 2 months and 14 days. Miss Fisher came to Nebraska with her parents at the age of then years. She went through the hardships of pioneer days on the homestead which her father took up in 1876, and which remained her home until she departed this life. Miss Fisher was of a kind, quiet and gentle disposition, always willing to sacrifice her own welfare and pleasures for others, patience and thoughtfulness of those about her being the outstanding features of her last illness. She was preceded in death by her father and mother, and by one brother and one sister who died in infancy. She is survived by three brothers, Burton F. and Henry E. Fisher of Geneva township, and Elmer J. Fisher of Bremerton, Wash., also seven nephews and one niece, who, with other relatives and a host of friends, will greatly regret her passing away. Six of her nephews acted as pallbearers at her request. The funeral took place from the Congregational church in Geneva, Neb., at 2 p.m. Friday, January 25, and was conducted by Rev. David Tudor.
