Read More	Iva Anna Arnold – April 27, 1903-June 7, 2000 Funeral services for Iva Arnold were held at 11:00 am Monday, June 12, 2000, at the Memorial United Methodist Church in Lyons. Officiating at the morning services were Rev. Robert E. Call, Pastor of the Church. Iva Anna Arnold died at the Jefferson Care Center on Wednesday morning, June 7, 2000, at the age of 97 years, 1 month and 11 days. At the funeral service, members of the family shared their reflections of Iva's life and their relationships with her. The organist was Juli Morrow. Vocal music was provided by a duet, Cliff and Marilyn Morrow, who sang, "In the Garden" and "I Know Who Holds Tomorrow". The casket bearers were: Cliff Morrow, Ed Morrow, Clark Morrow, Tom Morrow, Mark Arnold, Steve Mart and Mike Banta. Interment was in the Lyons Cemetery. Following the graveside service, members of the UMW of the Church, prepared a lunch in the Church Basement. Iva Anna Arnold was born April 27, 1903, in rural Decatur, Nebraska to Edmon and Margaret A. (Saxton) Morrow. She was baptized and confirmed at the Riverside Baptist Church, near Tekamah, Nebraska. Iva graduated from Riverside High School of rural Tekamah and attended Wayne State College. Iva was united in marriage, as part of a triple elopement with her two sisters, to Forrest Anthony Arnold on April 18, 1931 at the Methodist Church in Pipestone, Minnesota by Rev. Everett Hall. Forrest and Iva spent most of their married life on farms in Burt County. Iva taught school in Burt County and they retired in Lyons in 1965. Forrest died on March 22, 1973. Iva was a member of the Eastern Star, West Side Aid, the Garden Club, and the Memorial United Methodist Church of Lyons and the UMW of the Church. Iva had been living at the Jefferson Health Care Center in Lee's Summit, Missouri since December of 1995. Iva was preceded in death by her husband, Forrest Arnold, her parents, Edmon and Margaret Morrow, her three brothers, Arthur, Donald and Glenn Morrow and one of her sisters, Mary Heiber. Survivors include her four children: Jean A. Arnold of Arcadia, California; Ferne E. Bruton and her husband, Bill of Kansas City, Missouri; Lee J. Arnold and his wife Sue of Forsyth, Missouri; Roy G. Arnold and his wife Jane of Corvallis, Oregon. Other survivors include: 11 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Margaret Hale of Lyons, Florence Mack of Tacoma, Washington, and Ella McCluskey of Issaquah, Washington. Piper Funeral Home of Lyons was in charge of funeral arrangements.
