Lodge will have charge of Service at the Cemetery ------------------------------------------- Jacob Chris Miller was the first child of Henry & Elizabeth (Hampel) Muller. He was born April 18, 1877 at his parent’s home south of Lyman, Iowa. He was married on March 6, 1901 to Emma Wilhelmina Dorothea Boseck at her parents’ home. They first lived in the local area before moving to a homestead in Oklahoma in 1903 near a small town, Pocasset, 16 miles north of Chickasha. In October, 1918 they moved to a farm east of Audubon, Iowa. Jacob was a farmer and carpenter. Jacob and Emma had eight children: Goldie, Beulah, Edgar, Granville, Reford, Clair, Wilma Faye and Jacob Jr. At some time during his life they chose to change the spelling of Muller to Miller. He died at a hospital in Des Moines, Iowa at the age of 63. Most of these notes are taken from the old Muller History. I have listed the children as it may help in linking the memorials.
