Mr. Bowser was born in Cedarville, Ind., February 5, 1847. He came to Emporia in 1880, and has lived here ever since. Besides his wife, Mrs. Catherine Bowser, he leaves three children, Mrs. Nettie McColm, Mrs. Lillie Commons and Albert Bowser, all of Emporia; and two step-children, Mrs. Bertha Peck, of St. Louis, and Lewis Yengst, of Argentine. Mr. Bowser had been a member of the Methodist church since he was a young man. The funeral will be held Sunday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock at the Grace Methodist church. The services will be conducted by the Rev. E. J. Gardner, and interment will be made in Maplewood cemetery.
