Description	:	JACOB SILK: After a few months' illness there passed away on Sunday, May 16th, 1943 at his home in Melancthon Township, a loving husband and father, Jacob Silk, in his 75th year. A well-known farmer and resident of this district for many years, he leaves to mourn his wife and two sons, Bert, at home, and Fred, at Bancroft. The funeral was held from the Gamble Funeral Home, Shelburne, Wednesday afternoon, May 20th. Services were conducted by Rev. H. O. Hutcheson. Interment was made in Shelburne Cemetery.
