Mary Jane remarried to a Carlos Alonzo Keeler, on July 4, 1855 in Jefferson County, Iowa (thanks to Jenien Ferguson for that information update on February 19, 2011). Mary Jane Combs Bonnett (Keeler) is buried at Summerville Cemetery in Summerville, Union County, Oregon. Their children are believed to be: Granville, Mary Elizabeth, Margaret Jane, Ellen/Eleanor, Samuel, and Jasper Chatman/Chapman. According to information provided by Jenien Ferguson on Tuesday, Feb. 15, 2011: "My records show there was a 7th child, also born 1853, so most likely a twin and perhaps didn't survive, name of Jacob Nicholas Bonnett. Thought you might want to add that." Jacob W. Bonnett may well have died in Jefferson County (where he lived) and then transported to Smith Cemetery near Birmingham, Van Buren County (to the south) for burial alongside his father Lewis Bonnett.
