Newhouse of Nelson, 81, who died shortly after 1 a.m. Tuesday in the Superior hospital. He had been hospitalized five weeks and had undergone surgery the past week. James Allen Newhouse was born near Smith Center, Kans., Dec. 1, 1878, the son of William T. and Sarah L. Newhouse.
