Description	:	James Earl passed away suddenly at home on Sunday, January 13, 2015 at the age of 72. Jim was born in West Terre Haute, Indiana on December 25, 1942 to Earl and Mary Cole. He was predeceased by his parents; wife, Elizabeth; brother, Jack and sister, Margaret. Jim served in the United States Army. Jim was born in West Terre Haute, Indiana on December 25, 1942 to Earl and Mary Cole. He was predeceased by his parents; wife, Elizabeth; brother, Jack and sister, Margaret. Jim served in the United States Army. He began his work career at Midland Glass Container in Terre Haute, Indiana, transferred to Anchor Glass Container, Inc., in Henryetta, Oklahoma and retired after 42 years from Anchor Glass Container in Jacksonville, Fl. Jim was very active in his church, including Knights of Columbus where he served as District Deputy and Grand Knight while living in Oklahoma. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus at St. Catherine’s Parish in Orange Park, Florida. He was also involved in Urban Plunge and served on the Parish Bazaar Core Team for many years. He was a member of the Clay County Cruisers where he loved to drive his 1930 Model A. He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Deborah; daughter, Louise Ann Huffman (Sean); sons, Jonothon Cole (Christina) and Jon Carpenter; grandchildren, Alex, Emma, Ava and Lily Huffman; Ella Hall and Leah Cole; Brice, Hannah, Hunter, Gabriel and Kaitlyn Carpenter and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation will be Thursday, January 15 at St. Catherine’s Catholic Church, 1649 Kingsley Avenue, Orange Park, Florida from 6-8 P.M. with a Vigil Service at 7:00 P.M. The Funeral Mass was Friday, January 16 at 11:00 A.M. Interment will be on Saturday, January 24 at 3:00 P.M. in West Terre Haute, Indiana. Arrangements under the care of the Jacksonville Memory Gardens Funeral Home, 111 Blanding Blvd., Orange Park, Florida.
