Seamann and a friend, Pat Jeffres, were reportedly wading at a dam on the Seamann farm two miles north of Greeley when the incident occured (sic). James Seamann was born July 21, 1960, at Greeley to Edward and Chariotte Pogue Seamann. He grew up in Greeley and would have been a senior at Greeley High School this fall. His family farms north of Greeley. Survivors include his parents; three brothers, John, Wally and Marty, and two sisters, Emily and Rosanna, all at home and grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. Jim Pogue of Greeley & A. M. Seamann of Spalding.
