The deceased had been in failing health for the past two years, death finally relieving him of his sufferings last Saturday. He is survived by a widow, two sons and four daughters, all grown and married, as follows: Messrs. Fred and James Thornton of Lawsonia, Mrs. Upshur Milbourne, Mrs. Clara Riggin and Mrs. Del.
