A. and the late H. H. Terry and a prominent young farmer and stock man of the Jackson’s river section. The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Gum who reside south of Meadow Dale. Read More	Highland Recorder April 3, 1923 Mr. Frank Terry of Jackson's river and Miss Polly Gum of the Meadow Dale section were married Monday in Washington. Mr. Terry is a son of Mrs. S. A. and the late H. H. Terry and a prominent young farmer and stock man of the Jackson’s river section. The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Gum who reside south of Meadow Dale. Mr. and Mrs. Terry will reside at the Terry home on the river, one of the handsomest in Highland. The Recorder April 5, 1973 James Frank Terry, 78, died at his home In Monterey Thursday morning, March 29, 1973. He was born in Mustoe Sept 7, 1894, a son of Howard and Sally Swadley Terry. He was a farmer and a member of the Monterey United Methodist Church. He Is survived by his widow, Mrs. Mabel Doyle Terry of Monterey; two daughters, Mrs. Helen Watson of Arlington and Miss Louise Terry of Staunton; one son, Curtis Terry of Roanoke; two sisters, Mrs. Ralph Trimble of Chapel Hill, N.C. and Miss Edna Terry of Lynchburg; two brothers; H.H. Terry of Monterey and Carl Terry of Virginia Beach, and one granddaughter. Graveside services were conducted 11 a.m. Saturday, March 31, at Monterey Cemetery.
